Photography made it possible to travel down Kronos, the river of time. Faded, yellowed photographic prints look at us like smithereens of times, scattered puzzles of events, facts, dates, which make up a bright mosaic of human life. I have been going in for photography since my childhood; I have always been enthralled by the world inside the viewfinder. With one shutter release, a moment became a made history, story, novel, a musical piece. I collected old photo cameras and could feast my eyes on the inventiveness of pre-war camera constructions for hours on end.
When I began shooting, I understood – it is possible and necessary to study for the whole life. Study and self-improve. I am sure that people thinking that they reached the peak have exhausted themselves as professionals.
When I shoot, it seems that I swim in the river of time and holding my breath, submerge in it. Completely! Every photo is a burst of events, cascade of emotions, a drop of a miracle. Follow on!
